Austin Ford and the Time Travelers is a collective of musicians, most of whom Austin met while studying music at Middle Tennessee State University.

The name “Time Travelers” refers to the classic nature of the music: each song features real musicians playing real instruments, with the individual musicianship of each player front and center. It’s hopefully a refreshing contrast to most of today’s pop music, which is largely programmed rather than performed. To Austin, the humanity of real musicianship can’t be wholly replicated by computers, however sophisticated.
